Film Schedule

 


  My Film Schedule 



This schedule will be what I follow to ensure a smooth filming period. I have conversated with my actors to make sure these are open dates to allow for the best filming possible. By establishing clear timelines and expectations I am able to maximize production quality and minimize scheduling conflicts. 



First filming:

February 28th- Film the garage scene with interrogation between girl and killer. Will take approximately two hours


Second Filming:

March 6th- Film Bob walking and discovering the phone in the street. This is a bulk of the filming. Will take about two hours

Third Filming: 

March 7th- The convenience store scene and introduction to Bob's character. Will take approximately 30 minutes.


My plans for editing:

Once I have all of the clips I need I will tackle the editing into different sections. This includes things like clip adjustments, sound adjustments, color grading, and transitions. This will start in class once I can compile the clips to create full scenes. This process will take a few weeks to do.

Selection of Genre

       Selection of Genre     Choosing the genre of my opening scene was a large process that made my think about what I personally had passion for and balancing out which ideas would work the best. After deep consideration and brainstorming, I have decided on Horror as the main genre. I initially considered several other genres such as thriller or action because I enjoy a fast paced story and high energy sequences. However, my favorite type of movie my whole life has always been Horror movies. I wanted to lean toward a darker, more unsettling film that I felt were restricted if I picked the other genres. Horror is simple on paper, but I love the way producers use different techniques to create tension in the film. My Midterm Film Opening

Midterm Film Opening  This is my midterm film opening. The genre of it is horror.  The opening follows Bob, a normal  teenager,  as he finishes  grabbing  a  few  items  at a  store at night. He is a casual teenager who just wants to go to the store after school.  He  buys  some  items  and   walks  home by himself. His mom calls him and  is  worried  about why  he  isn’t  home  yet and  urges him  to hurry.  He gets annoyed with her because he knows he should be home since its late but doesn't like being told what to do.  Bob reassures her  and continues  to walk.   Bob  hears a loud ringing sound from a mysterious phone   abandoned  on the streets.
